Furniture Making Course - Full Day

• A choice of wood 

• Shaping the required pieces, grinding, sanding, drilling, doweling and gluing 

• Levelling the piece of furniture 

• Oiling the finished piece.  

• The tools used will include the jigsaw, the grinder, the sander, the drill, and various small hand tools.

What you will learn

All of our courses offer an opportunity to learn from John and the team about our native hardwoods, how these can be crafted into useful items, and the safe use of the tools used to do so. You don’t need any previous carpentry experience.

Our courses run during the season from the beginning of April until the end of October.  Courses can be arranged at your convenience and are run on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between the hours of 11am - 5pm.
